Full course description

The popularity of e-scooters and bikes on campus continues to rise, but with great speed comes great responsibility. If you brought one of these devices with you to campus, or if you're hopping on a rented Veo to get to class, you need to know how to safely operate your vehicle.

If you are bringing  your e-scooter or e-bike to campus, you are required to complete this training before you can register your vehicle with the Department of Transportation Service (DOTS). All privately-owned electric scooter and electric bicycles are required to be registered with DOTS. Students living in resident halls, university-owned fraternity and sorority chapter houses and South Campus Commons will be not be permitted to register privately-owned electric micromobility vehicles with DOTS. Unregistered vehicles are subject to booking or impoundment and associated fines.

Pedal bike riders, Veo users, pedestrians, and drivers are highly encouraged to take this training.
